1962 MASERATI 3500 GT LHD

Built by Maserati between 1957 and 1964, the 3500 GT marked the marque's first real successful attempt at a Grand Tourer, with 2226 produced between 1957 and 1964. This example, manufactured in 1962, made its way to the UK in 1972, being registered here in March 1972, Since its import to the UK, it has had four registered keepers. The car, with all-round disc brakes and five-speed transmission, has been in storage since 1987 so now requires restoration. It was running when stored, but the coolant and brake pads were removed after it was parked up. Paperwork accompanying the Maserati includes the V5C, its last MoT certificate from 1986 (at 17,898km), and an old V5C and 1980 tax disc. The odometer shows 18,191km.
