1950 SUNBEAM S8 500

The vendor describes this 487cc Sunbeam S8 as in very good condition, and running and riding well. He further tells us that much money has been spent on the engine, and lots of the chromework has been replaced with stainless steel items. A new battery has been fitted but is not charging since the bike came out of storage - which it has been in for the last eight years or so. In fact, it has been in storage for most of the time since the vendor bought it in 2015. The motorcycle was registered in September 1950 and the V5C records four registered keepers in total. Mileage indicated on the odometer is 02104 and the last MoT expired in March 2013 after having been tested the previous year at an indicated 270 miles. The Sunbeam is now MoT-exempt though, as an historic motorbike. The original colour of Polychromatic Grey was replaced to black in February 2012. The paperwork folder runs to the V5C, workshop manual, technical data and an MoT from 2012.
