1957 AUSTIN HEALEY 100/6 BN4

While built in 1957, this Oyster White Austin-Healey 100/6 (BN4) was initially registered and used in the USA and was only registered in the UK in April 2022, after having been restored during 2021 and 2022, with the vendor describing it as highly non-original. It was bought as a left-hand drive rolling chassis and now features a 4.6-litre Chevrolet 283 Small Block V8 engine with Edelbrock 500 CFM carburettor (developing around 220bhp) and Muncie M20 four-speed gearbox, MGB steering rack and standard brakes and rear axle. The outer panels mixture of aluminium, steel and fibreglass while the substructure consists of three subframes; the first carrying the front shroud, windscreen and A-pillar, the second the rear shroud and B-pillar and the third being the gearbox tunnel. All three bolt off, as do the front wings. It also has five nearly new Blockley tyres. Inside, there are electronic reproduction gauges and a GPS speedometer. There's no hood or hood frame, just a tonneau and hardtop. The MoT is valid until March 2024 and the ven Paperwork accompanying the Austin-Healey 100/6 includes the V5C, BMIHT Heritage Certificate, current MoT certificate and a large stack of bills relating to the rebuild from the last couple of years. There's also photographs of the rebuild and some technical documentation.
