1968 RENAULT 16 TS

1,565cc. This rare, metallic blue, Renault 16TS is one of only 70 left on the road. It has been completely restored and in 2021 was subject to further £8,000 expenditure on renewing everything forward of the windscreen including the engine, wings and bonnet following an engine fire. The car has always been cherished and is described as driving sweetly and being in perfect order. It has been owned by the vendor since 2014 and was featured in a 2015 edition of Classic & Sports Car. The vendor advises that during his nine year ownership, the Renault has been barn stored and used in the summer months only.

It comes with an extensive history file which includes the original bill of sale, original service book and sales brochures, various MoTs dating from 1984 to the present, receipts, restoration photos, tax discs, magazine articles, older V5s, ownership details from 1968 and manual. The mileage is recorded at 91,833.
