1990 LOTUS ELAN M100

1,588cc. This Lotus Elan M100 has been owned by the vendor for almost twenty years. It was purchased from a car body finisher, so the car was in good shape. The hood had just been replaced prior to their purchase in 2004 and has spent most of its life indoors since. The car has had minimal use during the last nineteen years covering less than 10,000 miles, with long periods in the garage. Latterly it spent part of the last year in France when the majority of the miles were accumulated. The vendor, now in his 80's, has decided to sell the car due to health reasons. He advises that the pop-up lights and electric windows have ceased to work, he has made an attempt to rectify himself without success, so they will require some attention. He also advises that he asked his local garage to replace the cam-belt as he could not recall having it done, but they advised him that it looked new. It has been fitted with a brand new battery. The car is one of 127 built without a turbocharger and has never failed to start instantly.  

It comes complete with current V5, MoTs dating from 2001 onwards and spare keys.
