1963 WOLSELEY HORNET

The vendor describes this luxury Mini variant as ‘a lovely little Hornet in extremely presentable condition’. With only one previous owner recorded on the V5C, he has owned it for four years, during which it has always been garaged. He tells us that the previous couple who owned the car were incredibly fond of it, as it was the car they had when they were dating and then kept all through their married life, initially as a daily car and then for Sunday best. It was only sold after the husband passed away. The vendor is now only selling it because he doesn't use it enough. The 998cc car was registered in July 1963 and is now showing 78,748 miles on its odometer. As an historic vehicle, it is now MoT-exempt; its last expired in July 2017 after having been tested the previous year at 78,311 miles. It is described as running well. Documentation with the Hornet includes the V5C, driver's handbook, Castrol service chart, old MoT certificates and a single bill for fuel system cleaning and new tyres dating from March 2020.
