This 1.7-litre Austin Ambassador, with John Shuttleworth's favourite numberplate suffix letter of ‘Y’ according to his song, was registered in March 1983. It's been barn-stored since 1995, when it was last on the road. The vendor reports that it is running well (but has not been used on the road due to having no MoT), some restoration work has been carried out and it's in good overall condition. A non-original fuel tank has been fitted. The mileage is showing as 46,334 miles. The only paperwork with the Ambassador is its V5C.
