1979 AUSTIN MORRIS MINI CLUBMAN

This Mini Clubman, registered in May 1979, has been heavily modified. It now has a 1310cc engine (which will need to be amended on the V5C) with lightened and balanced crankshaft, skimmed head, uprated rockers, billet flywheel, straight-cut drop gears and close ratio gearbox. It now generates about 88bhp. There's also a sports exhaust, 1994 Ford Fiesta front brake discs and calipers, electronic ignition, negative camber front wheels (by two degrees) and 10in Revolution wheels. The mileage indicated by the odometer is 65,332 miles. As an historic vehicle, the Clubman is now MoT-exempt; its last expired in March 2021 after having been tested at 65,169 miles the previous year. Paperwork accompanying the Mini includes the V5C, 2020 MoT certificate, a single bill from 2007 and the owner's handbook.
