1987 CITROEN 2CV BAMBOO

The Citroen 2CV Bamboo was a 1987-only limited edition model that could be recognised by its distinctive ‘Vert Bambou’ colouring. This 602cc example, registered in August 1987, had just one lady owner up until March 2023; its V5C shows two owners overall. The odometer shows 474 miles, but the actual total is 100,474. Its MoT is valid until March 2024. The Citroen has made two appearances on screen, including The Two Ronnies. Recent work has involved a new roof and bumpers but otherwise the 2CV is  believed to be mainly original. A stainless steel exhaust is also fitted. The car is described by the vendor as running and driving well, with no issues to be aware of; for the last five months or so, it has been in storage.     

The paperwork file is an extensive one, with invoices back to the 1980s. There's also assorted MoT certificates as well, plus some old V5Cs and the original book pack with owner's manual, maintenance guide and service book, albeit unstamped. A spare set of keys comes with the Citroen as well, along with some spare Bamboo decals.
