1968 JAGUAR E-TYPE 4.2 SERIES II 2+2 COUPE AUTO

This original UK Jaguar E-Type 4.2 Series II was supplied new by Henlys of London. It was built in September 1968 but reregistered during May 1981 when it was issued with its original registration number. The vendor advises that it was stripped for restoration in the mid 80s and completed in 1993. In 2009 its colour change is recorded from its original blue to the current red. It is fitted with triple Weber carburettors, power spark ignition and leads, new rear shock absorbers and axle mountings. The headlining has recently been replaced. The car has been dry stored since 2017 but recently recommissioned when it was issued with a new MoT until July 2024. 

The history file contains a Jaguar dating letter, MoTs dating back to 1974, various invoices and documents dating from the late 1970's to around 2016 and spare keys  It registers three owners since 1981 with the current keeper recorded since 2012. The mileage is recorded at 73,563.
