1984 FIAT UNO 45 ES ONE OWNER

With the ‘ES’ standing for ‘Energy saving’, the Fiat Uno Super ES was all about economy. It had aerodynamic exterior features along with a novel electronic fuel system that restricted petrol supply under certain circumstances and also had an consumption meter on the dashboard plus a warning light to tell the driver when to change up. With a 45bhp 903cc engine, it all added up to a car that was capable of 65.7mpg overall, in the right circumstances. Examples of these cars are now very rare; this one was registered in February 1984 and has had just one owner from new. Its odometer shows 73,010 miles. There's no current MoT; the last expired in September 2007. 

The car comes with a very large history file that includes the V5C, marketing brochures, and the original book pack with owner's handbook, corrosion guarantee,, right-hand drive supplement, dash guide, ES instructions, dealer directory and service booklet, which is stamped up to 53,160 miles in July 1993. There's also some old V5/V5Cs, the original bill of sale (foe £3938), dealer correspondence and bills through to 2005. The MoT certificates range from 1991 to 2006.
