1982 VW GOLF GTI

2.0-Iitre ABF 8v. This rare MK I VW Golf GTi track car is road legal and has been very expensively built. It weighs only 850kg. The specification includes:

The car is well known and has a good racing pedigree including a Forum Thread with many comments. The previous owner purchased the car in 2012 following an apparent ten year garage storage. At that time it had already had Slick 50 history. He then raced her in the BARC Cannons Tin Top championship series for five years and later sprint and track days. It was sold in 2022 and at the time the current engine had never been raced but had participated in four sprints and two track days. 

It comes with many spare parts. The history file includes current V5, MoT to July 2024, various copy racing photos, some receipts, handbooks and wallet.
