The vendor has owned this 2433cc Conquest since December 2013 and has carried out various restoration jobs since then. The car, built in 1953 but reregistered in August 1988 with an age-related number, has received only light use in fine weather according to the vendor and is running well, albeit with the petrol gauge not working. The odometer shows 22,916 miles and the last MoT expired in January 2013, after having been tested the previous year at an indicated 19,507 miles. However, as an historic vehicle, the Conquest is now MoT-exempt. The car's previous colour of blue was changed to gold in November 2013. Paperwork with the Daimler includes the current and previous V5C, owner's handbook, workshop manual and invoices back to 1990. There's evidence of considerable body work during October 2020 as well as photos of a fuller restoration, plus MoT certificates, old service parts catalogue and a 1998 Practical Classics magazine feature on the Conquest.
