1983 OPEL KADETT 1.2

This Opel Kadett has been family-owned from new, and comes with an extensive history including many previous tax discs and MoTs. It is reported as reliable with no known issues. The car is believed to be all original, but has recently just been treated to new tyres. Five registered owners are recorded on the V5C and the odometer shows  (1)03,484 miles. Initially used overseas, it was UK-registered in April 1983. The last MoT expired in June 2023. As from next year, the Kadett should be tax- and MoT-exempt as an historic vehicle, although its V5C will need updating with the DVLA. Documentation with the Opel includes the current and past V5Cs, a large stack of invoices dating back over much of the Kadett's life, tax discs and MoT certificates. There's also the service book, albeit with entries up to July 1993. In February 1999, the Opel was noted as Category D Insurance Loss; Vehicle Damaged But Repairable - Insurer Decided Not To Repair.
