SPARTAN KITCAR

Construction of this Spartan kit car was started many years ago by an engineer who has now passed away. Spartans used mainly Ford or Triumph Herald/Vitesse parts; this one has a Vitesse 1596cc six-cylinder engine fitted, with the odometer indicating 10,530 miles. According to the vendor, the car rolls easily and appears to have most of its major mechanicals installed. At the moment, the Spartan doesn't run or have any keys, however, the car does come with a lot of parts. Paperwork includes the original green logbook for the 1963 Triumph Vitesse that forms the basis of the car, the 1980s' V5 and a 1975 MoT plus brochures, the build instructions, drawings, and a Haynes workshop manual on the Triumph Vitesse and GT6. There's also magazines on building specials and some correspondence.
