1973 FORD CORTINA 1600 XL MKIII

Both family-owned and garaged from new, according to the vendor, this 1973 Ford Cortina MkIII 1600 XL shows just three registered keepers overall on its V5C. It was registered in August 1973 and is now showing circa 62,000 miles on its odometer. As an historic vehicle, the Cortina is exempt from MoT testing; there's no record of it having had one back to 2005, when online MoT records began; however, it has only recently been put back on the road after being unused for many years. Recent work has included new tyres, brake calipers, master cylinder and wheel cylinders. The vendor describes the interior as near perfect, with its front seats protected by covers. The car is also reported as running well, with no known issues. The only documentation with the Cortina is its V5C.
