1988 AUSTIN MINI DESIGNER

This Mini Designer - a limited edition run of 2000 in 1988 with an interior by fashion designer Mary Quant - was registered in October 1988 and was restored three years ago and then used for a year but then left. Its last MoT expired in April 2023 after being tested the previous year at 77,888 miles. The current odometer reading is 79,859 miles. The vendor tells us that the restoration was a bare shell rebuild with too many new parts to list but it has a polybushed suspension and Goodridge hoses. It is described as running well with no known issues. 

The Mini comes with its current and past V5Cs, assorted bills from its restoration, old tax discs and its 2022 MoT certificate. In 2007, the car was a Category C insurance loss; vehicle extensively damaged but repairable - insurer decided not to repair.
