Registered in July 1957, this 803cc Standard 8 is a later model fitted with an opening boot (earlier models didn't have this feature). Its odometer shows 16,947 miles and its last MoT expired in March 2016 after being tested the previous year at an indicated 13,854 miles. However, as an historic vehicle, the Standard is now MoT-exempt. The vendor tells us that it runs well and is reliable, having been used mainly for local classic car shows during the last four years of their ownership. Recent work undertaken has included home servicing. Paperwork with the Standard runs to just the V5C only.
