The MG BGT LE models were among the last to be built at MG's Abingdon factory before it closed in 1980. The run of 1001 cars was comprised of 580 GTs and 421 Roadsters. The Roadsters came in Bronze Metallic, the GTs in Pewter Metallic. Other distinctive features were a front spoiler, LE alloy wheels and red MG badges, a nostalgic nod to early MGs. This GT LE was registered in March 1981 and is now showing 65,387 miles on its odometer. Its last MoT expired in October 2020 after being tested at an indicated 64,461 miles; however, as an historic vehicle, the MGB is now MoT-exempt. The car comes with its V5C, several MG Enthusiast magazines, some invoices and MoTs back to 1995. There's also a rare two-page advertising brochure as well as a March 1981 letter from supplying dealer Marshall of Cambridge.
