The vendor states that this 1958 Standard Ensign is now in need of some restoration work, having been stored for some while. It has ignition faults but does start via the solenoid, with the engine running fine, the car driving and the brakes working. Its odometer shows 01093 miles. The Standard was registered in November 1958 and has three registered keepers recorded by its V5C, with the last two only in the past few months. There's no online record of an MoT back to 2005. Paperwork with the Ensign includes the V5C, a build certificate from the Standard Motor Club, and a three-page history of the car. There's also Standard Motor Club review and an old book on Practical Hints for the Maintenance of the Standard Ensign.
