1989 FORD ESCORT XR3i

This 1989 Ford Escort XR3i was dry-stored for two and a half years (during a house move and restoration) and then recommissioned in September 2023, with some new parts, a service and an MoT. This remains valid until December 2024. Parts fitted include a new radiator, thermostat, hoses, cam lifters/followers, headlights and rear exhaust section. The vendor states that the car runs and drives well, and he's unaware of any issues, although the car has only done a few miles since its recommissioning. The electric windows function as they should and the upholstery is described as good with no rips or tears and an uncracked dashboard while, under the bonnet, the often-rusty battery tray is described as solid. He regards it as not-concours but a good show car. The Escort was registered in September 1989 and is now showing 97,298 miles on its odometer. 

Paperwork includes the current and past V5Cs and some MoT certificates and invoices.
