1980 FORD CORTINA 1.6 GL

1,593cc. This Ford Cortina MK VI 1.6 GL was first registered in February 1980. After being unused for a number of years, this Solar Gold Ford was the subject of restoration work between 2020 and 2023. Work included the fitting of two new front wings, exhaust, brake pipes, flexi hoses, brake cylinders, refurbished callipers, front polybushes, cambelt, water pump and a full respray in Solar Gold. Although MoT exempt, it is current to May 2024. It is reported as running well. The interior is described as original. Three former registered keepers are noted on the V5C.
