1986 BMW M535I

Registered in February 1986, this potent BMW Motorsport variant of BMW's E28 5 Series is showing 179,210 miles on its odometer and has an MoT valid until July 2024. It is finished in the rare factory combination of Zinnober Red with Cardinal Red leather, along with Alpina wheels. It also has an electric sunroof, limited slip differential and five-speed manual transmission. The last owner had the car from 1996, with a large amount of money spent on restoration between 2021 and 2023. This included a full respray, although there are some areas where blisters are appearing so these spots could do with tidying. Recent work has included new timing guides and the underside restored. The vendor reports that the car runs and drives well, thanks to its recent restoration work. 

Paperwork with the BMW includes the V5C, various MoT certificates back to 1996, the owner's handbook (albeit rather water-damaged) and Haynes workshop manual. There's also a large amount of invoices from throughout the car's life.
