1983 TOYOTA HI-LUX 

This 2.2-litre diesel Toyota Hi-Lux is a rare MkI Double Cab variant (there are only two others known in the UK) manufactured in 1983 and imported from Australia in 2019. It was UK-registered in August 2023 after much preparation for the road, including a new MoT (which is no longer needed, as the Toyota is registered as an historic vehicle) new cambelt, water pump, timing gear case, oil and filter, air filter, crank and cam seals, engine gaskets, sump gasket, fuel filter and new battery. Upgrades include Ironman heavy duty suspension and Cooper Discoverer STT Pro tyres. The vendor describes it as very solid and original and starting first time and driving well.

The Toyota Hi-Lux's odometer shows 199,272 kilometres and its MoT (passed without any advisories) is valid until July 2024. Two registered keepers are recorded since the truck came to the UK. Paperwork includes the V5C, MoT certificate, Toyota Enthusiasts Club dating letter and eBay invoices.
