1981 RELIANT SCIMITAR GTC MANUAL 

This rare manual Reliant Scimitar GTC was registered in August 1981. Only 442 convertibles were built by Reliant, in a production run lasting from 1980 to 1986. The odometer shows 85,188 miles and the MoT is valid until December 2024 (although the GTC is now eligible for free road tax and MoT exemption; however, the details will need to be changed with the DVLA). Six registered keepers are recorded; the last for 24 years. The vendor describes it as a ‘clean, solid, original car’ (although  it has been repainted at some point, as the original colour is listed as beige; this was changed to the current green in November 1992) with the interior and roof ‘like new’. 

Paperwork with the Reliant includes the current and past V5Cs, MoT certificates back to 1995, some older invoices from the 1990s, and a coy of Practical Classics from March 1998 featuring a road test comparison article on the GTC model.
