1975 CITROEN GS PALLAS

Imported into the UK from South Africa in 2023, the only significant rust on this 1222cc Citroen GS Pallas is on the doors, possibly due to loading straps rubbing while on the ship. However, the exterior paintwork is patchy. The interior is original and in very good order, and the car comes with an original set of 1975 luggage given as a dealer incentive. The vendor is selling the Citroen - one of only 14 examples in the UK, it's believed - because he is emigrating and therefore unable to properly restore the car as intended. 

The car was manufactured in 1975 but registered in the UK in January 2024. It is showing 40,123km on its odometer and hasn't been MoT'd since coming into the country. However, as an historic vehicle, it no longer requires annual testing. The vehicle runs and drives but having been stored in South Africa for some years (albeit under cover) it will require some recommissioning. The alternator is reported to be charging intermittently. Recent work has seen the fuel lines cleaned out. 

Paperwork includes the V5C, Autodata repair manual, Autobooks workshop manual, Haynes bodywork manual and the Citroen owner's manual. There's also the NOVA documentation plus the South African registration document, along with a spare set of keys.
