The vendor describes this as a ‘nice early Yamaha YL1’ with two cylinders and twin-carburettors. He reports that it runs and rides well, with a clean fuel tank. The Yamaha,, which comes from a bike collection, dates from 1966 but was only registered in March 2016, since when it has had two registered keepers overall. Its odometer shows 7562 miles and its last MoT expired in September 2018 after having been tested the year before at an indicated 7557 miles. However, as an historic bike, the Yamaha is now exempt from annual MoT-testing. Paperwork with the bike includes the V5C, MoT certificates and some invoices.
