1971 SAAB 96

This Ford V4-engined four-stroke Hellas White Saab 96 was registered in December 1971 and is now showing 72,097 miles on its odometer. Its last MoT expired in October 2020 after having been tested the year before at an indicated 70,879 miles. However, as an historic vehicle, the Saab no longer requires annual testing, The previous owner, who had it nine years, began the car's refurbishment and the vendor (who has owned it for a year) has continued that, with new tyres, soccer ball alloys, carburettor, Jet X exhaust and shock absorbers plus a brake overhaul and servicing. He reports that the car runs very well. Upgrades include a Weber carburettor, alloys and Sport steering wheel. 

Paperwork with the Saab includes the V5C, quite a large collection of invoices, MoT certificates back to 2007, old tax discs, a brochure, Practical Classics history article and the owner's handbook. There's also a spare set of keys.
