2009 ‘COBRA EVOCATION’ RV DYNAMICS

Beautiful AC Cobra recreation by RV Dynamics. Only an estimated 50 cars were built in total with around 25 UK registered vehicles; the others reside in the USA and Sri Lanka. This stunning looking Cobra was correctly registered in May 2009 but now wears a period 1965 registration plate, which is a nice touch. Only 1632 recorded road miles from build date. It has been part of a large collection of vehicles privately owned by a collector in the south of England. In the first three years from build the Cobra was gently run in with 500 miles, and from 2012 to 2015 a further 800 miles were covered. From 2015 to 2020 the car was in dry storage unused, and since then around 250 miles have been covered. 

Finished in a stunning Gunmetal Grey with contrasting burgundy interior, dashboard and carpets. A really lovely build, detailed with chrome bumpers, clear indicators, P700 period headlamps, Cobra badges, stainless wiper arms, chrome mirrors, wind deflectors, polished aluminium stone guards, aluminium aero fuel filler cap. 17” Image Compomotive Hallibrand type alloy wheels are fitted with Toyo tyres and aluminium spinners. Inside there are Smiths white-faced with aluminium bezel instruments, a wood-rimmed steering wheel and inertia seat belts fitted. The car is powered by a BMW 3.5-litre straight-six fuel injected engine with a K&N type air filter. The radiator is aluminium and a side-pipe exhaust system is installed, which sounds superb. The BMW running gear means ABS brakes and power steering; it all adds up to make this Cobra replica extremely fun and extremely easy to drive. Comes complete with a wet weather tonneau cover in black mohair.

The car comes with its V5C showing three registered keepers, photos, some bills (including one for a service in December 2023 for £1260.88), and some MoT certificates. The current MoT is valid until January 2025.
