The current registered keeper of this 1948 Alvis TA14 Drophead Coupe has owned it for the last 29 years, with an engine rebuild during this time. The car has only been used a few times in the last six years due to the owner's health; these trips include a 2021 wedding and a few car shows. The vendor describes it as a clean, usable car that runs okay but will need recommissioning, the brakes checked and oils changed etc. The hood is in working order and described as in average condition.

The Alvis was registered in June 1948 and its V5C records just one keeper since DVLA computerisation. Its odometer shows 10,993 miles and its last MoT expired in November 2014, after having been tested the year before at an indicated 10,839 miles. However, as an historic vehicle, the Alvis is now MoT-exempt. The car comes with its V5C plus a history folder stretching back over 29 years with work carried out by the Alvis specialist Red Triangle plus local garages, MoTs and receipts, books and workshop manuals.
