While built in 1972, this Alfa Romeo 105 GTV was used in Nairobi and wasn't imported into the UK and registered here until April 1990. It is now showing 48,700 miles on its odometer. There's no record of an MoT back to 2005 (when online records began) but there is an MoT certificate from 1990, when the mileage was 47,876 miles. However, as an historic vehicle, the Alfa is now MoT-exempt. The vendor reports it as running and driving, although the brakes may require some attention due to lack of use, as the vehicle has been in long term storage and gradually restored over 20 years of ownership. However, it has been regularly started and run short distances. The Alfa is a matching numbers car, with a manufacturer's certificate to testify to this. Upgrades includes a Harvey Bailey suspension kit, thicker anti-roll bar, Superflex/polyurethane bushes, and Koni shock absorbers (adjustable on rear), brake bias unit, 123 ignition distributor.

Paperwork includes the V5C, the instruction manual, technical characteristics and principal inspection specifications manual, Alfa Romeo Classiche Certificate of Origin, various invoices and a summary of 2017 work carried out. There's also a folder of original bills from both the UK and Nairobi dating from 1973 to 1990 and photos of the stripped shell and repainting work. The car also comes with a set of spare keys and its original chrome bumpers.
