1960 AUSTIN HEALEY “FROGEYE” SPRITE
This Cherry Red ‘Frogeye’ version of Austin-Healey's Sprite was manufactured in 1960 but was reregistered in January 2018. It has had one single registered keeper since then. Its last MoT was in November 2017 at 59,865 miles but as an historic vehicle, the Sprite no longer requires annual testing. The engine is listed on the V5C as being a 1275cc, which means it must have been swapped at some point, as all Sprites of this era were 998cc. The documentation with the car includes the V5C, two Heritage Certificates, a notebook itemising costs, and a sheaf of bills mostly from around 2017 including one for a new interior. There's also the MoT certificate from 2017 plus pictures of the car, some suggesting a degree of restoration at some point. An original steel bonnet is included in the sale, this will be delivered to ACA shortly.
