This Austin 10 is believed to date from 1933 or 1934, although there is no current V5C. It had been stored in a barn for over 50 years; just prior to this, its engine was rebuilt (testified to by a May 1970 bill in the history file) but it is believed not to have been run after the Austin went into storage. However, it has recently been got going using an external fuel supply. The documentation is sparse as the owner passed away many years ago - while the V5C is absent, there is some 1990s correspondence regarding the registration of the vehicle plus some images of of it when found in its barn, and the afore-mentioned invoice for the the engine rebuild. There's also a photocopy of the 1950s buff logbook for the car. The mileage indicated on the odometer is 92,831 miles.
