Offered for restoration. This 250cc G25 model was supplied new and registered to Arthur Wheeler Ltd of Epsom. Arthur Wheeler was an English professional Grand Prix motorcycle road racer who gained a reputation as one of the top privateer racers on the Grand Prix circuit. Opening a motorcycle shop in 1937, he used his profits to enable his motorcycle racing career. When World War II started, Wheeler's engineering skills led him to being chosen to work alongside Barnes Wallis in developing the bouncing bomb.

Comes with a quantity of older invoices and the original buff log book (registered 460 PG). The Matchless is not on the DVLA database and as such will need to be re-registered.
