During the mid-1960s and early 1970s, Albert McNea was a member of the AVP program. His expertise and creative input contributed to the development and realisation of Ford's ambitious projects. Led by a team of engineers, designers, and researchers, the program aimed to push the boundaries of vehicle design, engineering, and technology to create groundbreaking prototypes and showcase future-oriented ideas.
By pushing the boundaries of automotive design and technology, the Advanced Vehicle Program aimed to shape Ford's future product lineup and contribute to the overall advancement of the automotive industry. No doubt, those early imaginations, including those which Albert McNea so beautifully and skillfully created with his pencils and marker pens, generated the sparks which have caught fire today and have contributed to Ford’s efforts in the design of today's cars and those far into the future.
