It is believed that this Austin-Healey ‘Frogeye’ Sprite came factory-fitted from new with a supercharger, something that only happened to very few Sprites. The car was dry-stored and unused for a number of years until recommissioned in 2013. The previous lady owner had it from new, since 2013 it has been family-owned by a husband and wife so has only had three registered keepers overall. The paint, seats, carpets, hood and tonneau are all as it was found when retrieved from the barn. From 2013 to 2016, the car was maintained by the vendor's husband, since then it has been looked after by Healey Club members who also own Sprites. Upgrades include Minilite wheels (but the original wire wheels come with the car), under-dash sat nav connection, battery/engine cut-off also under the dash and harness-type seatbelts. The sidescreens have been replaced and the car also comes with a full rain cover and half-top cover.

The car is reported by the vendor to be running well, with no known issues and a very good hood. It is believed the engine was overhauled during 2010 and 2011; the last service was in 2022. The Sprite has seen very little use over the past two years however. Its date of registration was July 1960 and the odometer shows 5193 miles. The last MoT expired in August 2019 after testing the previous year at at indicated 3070 miles; as an historic vehicle, the Austin-Healey no longer requires annual testing.

Accompanying the Sprite is its V5C, dating/history details (including a Heritage Certificate), some invoices from 2013 onwards and supercharger information, plus some technical info too.
