4,887cc. This matching numbers Bentley S1, finished in grey and green, has had only two registered owners from new including the vendor since 2022. It was first registered to a Mr EC Gray and ran on registration plate 5 ECG until 2022. It would appear from the records on file that the car was in the care of a storage company based in Middlesex from 1977 until 1998 and invoices record the car as being constantly maintained during that time. It would then appear that Mr Gray resumed care of the car from early 2000 until recently. In 2002 and 2003 we can see that the gearbox was stripped and rebuilt. In 2014 works were undertaken on the chassis and exhaust. In 2015 it was subject to various works, including boot seal, trackrod, steering ball pin and propshaft, costing £4,863. Finally, in 2020, £1,942 was spent with a specialist which included, amongst others, stripping down the king pin and supplying new king pin kit. The vendor describes the car as running and driving well. It was last MoT'd in 2013 with 91,632 miles on the clock and now records 94,382.
