The vendor has owned this 1988 Fiat X1/9 since 2011, during which time it has appeared in Practical Classics magazine (a copy of which is included in the history file). It has been converted from original 1500 big bumpers to the more desirable 1300 short bumpers (with the replacements being original steel, not fibreglass replacements). It also has a 1300 front grille, 1300 series Special front spoiler and Iron Cross-style wheels with Yohohama tyres. The vendor describes it as a superb car to drive and running very well, although the battery is tired and may need replacement. It has been upgraded with a full stainless steel custom exhaust. The Fiat was registered in October 1988 and its odometer shows 77,573 miles, with the MoT valid until September 2024. Paperwork with the Fiat includes the V5C, copy of Practical Classics from September 2013, MoT certificates back to 1998 and paperwork/invoices back to 1999, and a rolling road read-out that shows peak power at 97.5bhp.
