1954 FORD CONSUL SALOON

This 1508cc Ford Consul MkI was registered in June 1954 and has five registered keepers since DVLA records were computerised showing on its V5C. Its odometer shows 71,060 miles and its last MoT expired in November 2012 after being tested at 69,657 miles the previous year. However, as an historic vehicle, it no longer requires annual testing. Recent work has included brake hoses, brake and clutch master cylinder overhaul, brakes stripped and cleaned, and new rare cylinders. 

Paperwork with the Ford includes the current and past V5C, assorted older invoices (some dating back to the 1950s), assorted MoT certificates back to 1977, a workshop manual, and a copy of The Motor magazine from April 1951 covering the launch of the model.
