1993 MAZDA MX-6 V6 ABS

The vendor has owned this 1993 Mazda MX-6 since 1999 as its third owner. The car was registered in August 1993 and is showing 212,750 miles on its odometer; the engine and transmission are original. Its MoT is valid until March 2025. Approximately £1100 has been spent this year on welding, a new centre exhaust and distributor. It comes with new and used spare parts including a new EGR valve and solenoids, new gasket set, plugs and leads. 

The vendor describes it as running and driving okay, albeit with an uneven idle and a bit down on power. It has a stored code for an EGR valve. There's the occasional clutch judder, clunk from suspension and slight oil leak, plus some hydraulic tappet noise from the suspension. The key does not work in the passenger door lock, but all central locking works from the driver's side. The alarm was disabled some years ago. The electric sunroof works intermittingly; the air-conditioning works as it should, albeit with a slight noise at idle from the air compressor. 

Paperwork with the Mazda includes the current and past V5Cs, assorted invoices and MoTs stretching back 25 years, the service book stamped up to 2008, owner's handbook and original Mazda dealer booklets. There's also a spare set of keys.
