1997 VW GOLF 1.8 CABRIOLET AUTO

This 1997 Volkswagen Golf 1.8 Cabriolet is currently running on just three cylinders due to a cracked piston, which the vendor doesn't have time to fix. The car was dry-stored in 2012 and then recommissioned in 2024 with a new fuel pump, ignition parts, part-exhaust, windscreen wipers and MoT. It was shortly after this that the piston cracked. The odometer shows 31,175 miles and the MoT is valid until May 2025. The V5C records three registered keepers, with family ownership until 2024. The soft-top is described as good, but its electrics aren't working. The only paperwork with the Golf is the V5C, MoT certificates from 2005, 2006 and 2011 and a single invoice.
