1982 FORD TAUNUS 2.8 V6 LHD

This vivid Ford Taunus (by this stage, a badge-engineered German Cortina) in rare two-door form now features a refurbished 2.8-litre Cologne V6 engine (although the V5C still lists its old 1981cc four-cylinder engine, so this will need to be changed with the DVLA). It also has a Type 9 five-speed gearbox, electric power steering and electric Webasto glass roof. Recent fitments have included a new clutch kit, two front calipers, two vented front discs. The car was built in 1982 and seems to have been used from new in Lithuania but only came to the UK in March 2016. The vendor tells us that the car runs very well with no known faults; it has been restored at some point but the date is unknown. Two UK keepers are recorded by the V5C. The odometer shows 18,658km and the last MoT expired in May 2023 after testing the previous year at an indicated 17,958km. 

Paperwork with the Ford includes the V5C, the last MoT certificate, a couple of recent invoices, and some Lithuanian documentation.
