1985 FORD ESCORT RS TURBO SERIES I

1,597cc. This Ford Escort RS Turbo Series I was purchased by the vendor during the latter part of 2023 requiring recommissioning. It has been fitted with many new parts including fuel tank, fuel pump and lines, re-built turbo, head gasket, valve stem seals, camshaft lifters and brakes. A full list of the works is included in the file. In addition, the alloys (5) have been refurbished. The vendor advises that the car now runs and drives but would benefit from a tune-up and the brakes bedding-in. It has been registered to it's last owner since 2015 and was last MoT'd in 2016. The MoT history indicates that it has spent some years off the road.

The original service book is tamped from 1986 to 2000, then in 2002, 2004, 2016 and 2014. V5, receipts and MoT history complete the file. The mileage is recorded at 33,978.
