2000 VW T4 TRANSPORTER 2.5TDI SYNCRO SW

This Volkswagen T4 Transporter Syncro (four-wheel drive, with diff lock) 2.5 TDi has been converted into a multipurpose expedition van. It features a raised Siekel suspension system, leisure battery, sine wave (DC to AC) inverter, mains plug-in, ladder, steel sump plate, steel wheels, tow hitch and roof rack (the latter not currently fitted). It also has Osram Night Breaker headlamp bulbs, clear sidelights, LED brake lights and rear light guards, plus a half-height steel bulkhead, rear door-mounted spare tyre, front seats replaced by more comfortable Saab items, double Lycksele sofa bed bolted to the floorpan and black carpet interior. The VW, which is described as running well and reliable, received a bare metal respray in 2018 along with a reconditioned engine in 2015. The van was registered in May 2000 and now has 154,331 miles on its odometer. Its MoT is valid to August 2025.     

Paperwork in the extensive paperwork folder includes the V5C, MoT certificates, and invoices for repairs and maintenance filed by year, including the original delivery items. There's also a digital file of photos and a spare key.
