1956 MORRIS MINOR SERIES II

The vendor has owned this car for 20 years and describes it as always a good runner, with it being driven 48 miles to the sale. The car was registered in September 1956 and is now showing 51,038 miles on its odometer. Its last MoT expired in August 2015 after having been tested the year before at an indicated 48,485 miles. However, as an historic vehicle, the Minor no longer requires annual testing. The car was previously blue and had its colour changed to grey in February 1999; it has also been upgraded with a 948cc Gold Seal overhead valve A-series engine at some point (believed to be during the 1990s) in place of its original 803cc unit. Paperwork with the Minor includes the V5C, MoT certificates and a stack of invoices back to the 1990s.
