This open two-seater sports car uses a 1932 Austin Seven as its basis with a glassfibre Hamblin Cadet body and Ford E93A 1172cc sidevalve engine for propulsion (which will need to be updated with the DVLA as the V5C shows 700cc). The original Seven was built in 1932 and then reregistered in November 1983 (presumably because it had dropped off the DVLA database). It features an independent front suspension unit made by Cambridge Engineering, twin SU carburettors and hydraulic brakes by Bowdenex (using Morris Minor parts). Power is about 30bhp via a three-speed gearbox but the car weighs a mere 360kg (794 lbs).

The odometer shows 4901 miles and there's no record of an MoT back to 2005, when online MoT records began. However, as an historic vehicle, the Special is now MoT-exempt. Four registered keepers are recorded by the V5C. Paperwork includes the V5C, photos, and some engineering drawings (labelled Nestle, as the builder was a Nestle engineer).
