Owned by the vendor for 21 years after being purchased in Devon and driven back to Norfolk. Subject to a full body-off restoration over a period of years which included the fitting of a fast-road engine built by Canada Garage Racing and rated at 130bhp. The car has been subject to several upgrades including a Stag gearbox, lightened flywheel, drilled front disc brakes and servo, oil cooling system alternator conversion and high torque starter motor. The TR4 was registered in June 1962 and has five registered keepers recorded on its V5C since DVLA computerisation. The odometer shows 48,747 miles and its last MoT expired in March 2024; however, as an historic vehicle, the Triumph no longer requires annual testing. It is reported as running and driving well with no issues. Paperwork includes the V5C, MoT certificates, invoices, old tax discs, write-up of the modifications, British Motor Heritage certificate (showing the car was once red) and photos of the car at events and being restored. There's also an owner's handbook plus spare keys.
