This excellent condition rare 249cc Levis Model B motorbike was registered in October 1938 and has three registered keepers recorded on its V5C. Its odometer shows 103 miles and its last MoT expired in July 2012 after being tested the previous year at an indicated 1 mile (we believe this may have been taken from the tripmeter, in which case the Levis has only covered one mile since testing). As an historic motorcycle, the Model B is now MoT-exempt. Levis bikes were manufactured by Butterfields of Birmingham between 1911 and 1940, focusing on two-stroke machines and moving into four-stroke engines in 1928. This single-cylinder Model B was restored a few years ago and comes with its V5C, buff logbook from the Fifties, MoT certificate from 2011, 1936 brochure copy, invoices, photos, magazine articles, wiring diagrams and other technical information and Levis motorcycles hints and tips book.
