While dating from 1949, this 5.8-litre Packard Custom 8 was only UK-registered in May 1998, after being imported from California. Since then, it has had four registered UK keepers. The odometer shows 19,059 miles and its last MoT expired in September 2019, after being tested the year before at an indicated 19,059 miles. However, as an historic vehicle, the Packhard no longer requires annual testing. It is reported as running and driving well. The car was resprayed and re-upholstered circa 1999; power steering has also been fitted. |It was reputedly once owned by a nunnery! Paperwork includes the V5C, invoices, MoT certificates, club magazines and a photocopy of the driver's handbook.
