1990 JAGUAR XJ-S 5.3 HE AUTO

5343cc. This low-mileage V12 Jaguar XJ-S 5.3 HE Coupe was first supplied by Reg Vardy in Tyne & Wear, and registered on 1st October 1990. Documents show that the speedometer was changed in 1992, so the true mileage is just 32,297 miles rather than the indicated 21,367. The car has a long MoT to 17th June next year, and we're told it has recently received a service, including a new battery and spark plugs.

Despite the low mileage, the service book contains an impressive 12 stamps up to 14,296 miles in 2013. A handwritten note records that the engine was recommissioned in 2009 at a cost of £1373, after spending nine years in dry storage.

The Jaguar comes with old MoTs, and a good collection of invoices. Also included are a spare key, owner's manual and an issue of Car magazine from February 1988.

The air conditioning is reportedly not working. Comes with current V5.
